19th Annual Polar Bear Plunge will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2012. Registration begins at 9am until 12:30 pm. Plunge takes place at 1:00 pm in the ocean in front of the Aztec Ocean Resort.
In its 19th year, the Seaside Heights Plunge challenges thousands of Plungers and spectators to join the fun. This event is presented by the Policemen’s Benevolent Association, NJ101.5 and the Aztec Ocean Resort; and sponsored by the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics New Jersey, Jenkinson’s Breakwater Beach Waterpark, Casino Pier and Seaside Heights Tourism.
A minimum of $100 must be raised to Plunge; event is free to Spectators. Prizes and gifts based on fund-raising will be awarded for both events. Lunch is available on site for a minimum fee to spectators.
