The Hurricane that almost mirrored Hugo’s (’89 catastrophic hurricane destroyed most of Charleston) approach and scared the **** out of everyone. Fortunately these clips do not do the sessions justice. The Washout had a lot of trouble handling this swell as you can see from the video. The high tides in the early morning were when the clean sessions were to be had and unfortunately there was simply just too much water most of the times. The low tide sessions definitely provided the barrels we were after and the steep faces to send some airs and hacks.
