On the weekend of October 8th & 9th Surfers, Shapers, Designers, Craftsman, Manufacturers, Foundations and other Enthusiasts gathered at the Sacred Craft Surf Expo in Del Mar California. It was a wonderful industry event as over 100 exhibitors lined the Expo floor, with outrageous giveaways, live demos, bargain deals, and presentations. Also, right outside there was a skate park with food, beer and live music. The “Tribute to the Masters Shape-off” also took place, as six shapers designed and crafted unique asymmetrical surfboards honoring Carl Ekstrom, a master shaper & inventor of the FlowRider.
