Polar Bear Plunge 2012 in SSH

The 19th annual “Polar Bear Plunge” took place on Saturday, February 25th in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.  To help raise funds for the Special Olympics, 5,976 participants braved the icy (44-degree) water and took the plunge.  More then 15,000 lined the beach to watch.
