Tropical Storm Surfing on East Coast
We’re all still amping on Saturdays swell! Warm weather and tolerable water temps, mixed with a solid SSE swell kicked up by Tropical Storm Andrea, brought surf anxiety relief to the New Jersey and New York region. Pulling up to the beach in the morning, everyone saw that the waves were pumping and had perfectly groomed sandbars with some thick high-tide bombs rolling through. As the day went on, so did the good conditions. The Barewires South End Surf Contest absolutely went off in Spring Lake, NJ that day. It’s looking like more swell is on the way for this week and beyond!
