Live streaming the best surf spots on the planet.
We set up our first surf cam back in 2010, and our vision is the same now as it was back then. To get high-definition video cameras in front of your favorite beaches, point breaks, and reefs so you can get your eyes on the surf in real-time, from wherever you are.
Our Story
The Surfers View started out hosting a handful of free-to-view surf cams dotted along the Jersey Shore. At first it was just local New Jersey surfers tuning in to check the waves before making the drive, but as our network grew so did our viewers. It turns out our cams were also great for fishing and boating enthusiasts, weather coverage, and for those ready to hang at the beach.
Our camera network has grown steadily over the years, covering not only New Jersey breaks like Belmar and Manasquan, but also iconic Rockaway Beach in New York and Cocoa Beach in Florida. And we’re not just on the East Coast. We have live cameras at classic Californian surf spots, including Salt Creek, Huntington Beach, and Windansea. The tropical surfing paradise of Tamarindo in Costa Rica is also on our cam list.
With exclusive surf cams across the United States and Central America, The Surfers View is now looking even further afield to keep building its network with local weather and surf data. Our mission is to bring you live streams of surf breaks on every continent, so you only need to visit one place when checking the surf online.
