Shark feeding frenzy in Ocean County, NJ, shot August 16, 2012 . These sharks were aggressively feeding on menhaden (moss bunker). The frenzy came within 50 yards of the shoreline. It appears that the sharks were brown sharks and sandbar tigers, which are not maneaters. This rare feeding frenzy started about a mile offshore and moved into the surf zone in a matter of minutes.
