On Saturday July 7th 2012 the Heritage Beachstock Tow At Expression Session went down on Gladstone Ave in Margate New Jersey in flat surf, but with high level and exciting aerial surfing. The event featured South Jersey's best pro’s and up-and-coming shredders, including Longport’s Ben Graeff and Perry Siganos, Margate's Ian Bloch, Zack Humpreys, Scott Dreges and Ray Leotta and Linwood’s 11 year old phenom Pat Pat Taylor.
The surfers hit the water for a full hour starting at 2:30pm and ending at 3:30pm to out on a exciting display of futuristic and impressive surfing. All the surfers took to the air to keep the crowd intrigued, but it was only Ben Graeff and Perry Siganos who landed maneuvers in the dwindling surf. Ian Bloch, however, was still extremely impressive with his high-flying serial antics. The only injury of the day went to Scott Dreges, who came up to close to the sand on a wave and ended up spraining his ankle. Overall the event was a success and everyone is looking forward to next years Heritage Tow At Expression Session!
