Surfing on Thanksgiving in New Jersey
The Northeast and Mid-Atlantic surfers had plenty to be thankful for last week. The first swell hit 2 days before Thanksgiving, offering up super hollow chest-head high waves. The second swell hit on Thanksgiving, but many surfers had to cut their session short due to family plans. The lucky few who were able to stick around into the early afternoon were treated to some very rippable and fairly empty waves.
