Testimonials –

“Our trip with AST to Nicaragua was unreal! Perfect, wave rich set-ups of all variety were right out front of the house providing clean, offshore conditions all day… what more could a surfer ask for! From the moment we arrived until the end of our stay, the hospitality was top notch. The knowledgeable guides were able to bring us to the best waves utilizing AST’s ability to travel to secluded spots by car and by boat. With a perfect right and left just a short stroll down from the house, we had the freedom to surf anytime we wanted. AST in Nicaragua is truly something special. Anybody looking for a perfect surf retreat, look no further. All in all, great food, such wonderful people, and insane surf without any crowds. Thinking back on the trip, it was like a dream, all smiles.”

“The camp at Sandino was awesome. It was smooth sailing from the moment we got there. Marcos was on it the whole time with anything that we needed. It seemed like we ate amazing food before and after every surf, which was crucial. The Toña was always cold, and if you’ve never had one, it’s worth the flight down just for an ice cold beer. We went surfing too… The waves were some of the best I have ever surfed. The river mouth at Sandino was all time. We must’ve been riding waves for a half mile. After long mornings out there, we would come back to camp, eat an amazing meal, then head out front to surf again. We were literally steps away from a few different peaks, so we had our choice depending on the tide. Staying at AST was an awesome experience, and I can’t wait to go back! Thanks so much to everyone at the camp, as well as Dave!”
