November usually marks the start of the winter surf season in the northeast, so a hurricane swell in New Jersey around this time is rare. But this year the tropics delivered a final surge of swell. There was warm weather, great surf, and the return of everyone to town for the Thanksgiving holiday, all excited to catch some waves in NJ.
