The Scoop

This morning, there is a fun size SE swell in the water along the Jersey Shore region, with wave heights currently in the thigh to waist high range or so, with occasional + sets. Right now, just before low tide, the conditons are fair with light SE winds, creating a slight texture on the ocean surface. Top standout wind protected spots are looking more favorable than unprotected beach breaks if you know where to look. Approaching the afternoon, the wind is projected to increase and shift around from the E/ESE, creating a slight bump but keeping the surf manageable. As the tide fills in, the surf will continue to remain on the fun side so be sure to bring your favorite board as you head over to the beach! Enjoy your day!
